learning doesn't stop

A hospital stay shouldn't mean hitting pause on school. Support for the PACE Academy at Presbyterian funds a full-time teacher who works directly with students during treatment, helping them stay engaged and keep moving forward academically.

01. PATIENT ACCESS

When care

needs a way in

For many patients, getting the care they need isn't just a medical question. It's a transportation challenge, a food access issue, a financial barrier or simply not having a safe and supportive place to land.

Your giving helps meet patients where they are, whatever stands in the way.

03. ADVANCING CARE

Moving healthcare

forward

From neurological breakthroughs to expanded dermatology services, your gifts are helping Presbyterian bring more specialized treatment to New Mexico, closer to the people who need it.

Strengthening Dermatology Services

Getting in to see a dermatologist in New Mexico isn't easy.

Jim and Ellen King saw that firsthand. Their $2.5 million commitment established the King Fund for Dermatology, with a goal of training more clinicians to spot skin cancer and expanding dermatology services across the state, particularly in rural communities.

Expanding Neurological Care

Patients across New Mexico now have access to advanced neurological procedures without leaving the state. A new hybrid operating room at Presbyterian Hospital gives physicians more precision and flexibility for complex cases, and a planned neuro Intensive Care Unit will expand that capacity even further.

What once required a trip out of state can now happen here—thanks to philanthropy.

Hear neurosurgeon Carlos Alvarez, MD, talk about what this means for patients.
